If you're part of a large organisation with multiple Jira instances, or you're moving between instances, it's often helpful to be able to import and export your automation rules. Here's how.
Export Rules
- Importing and exporting is only available for global administrators. Make sure you're in the 'Global administration' panel.
- Click on the '...' and then 'Export rules'.
Your computer will download a file called 'automation-rules-<date>.json', which stores details about your rules.
